Wildlife Warranties by Scope of Work

We're not just exterior contractors. We're wildlife exclusion specialists, which is why we can offer wildlife entry warranties no traditional roofer or siding company can match. Two years, five years, or ten years of protection depending on the scope of work, plus the manufacturer warranties that come with the materials we install.

FULL EXCLUSION REPAIRS

2-Year Wildlife Entry Warranty


Projects that include comprehensive wildlife exclusion repairs are covered by a 2-year wildlife entry warranty. If wildlife gains entry through an area repaired or excluded by Critter Nerds during the warranty period, Critter Nerds will return and repair the covered entry point at no charge.

FULL REPLACEMENT OF ANY ONE TRADE

5-Year Wildlife Entry Warranty

Applies to Roofing, Siding, or Gutters


Customers receiving a complete replacement of a single exterior system are covered by a 5-year wildlife entry warranty.

Covered systems include:

  • Full Roof Replacement

  • Full Siding Replacement

  • Full Gutter Replacement

 

If wildlife gains entry through a covered system installed by Critter Nerds during the warranty period, Critter Nerds will repair the covered entry point at no charge.

FULL EXTERIOR SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

10-Year Wildlife Entry Warranty

Applies to Three or More Trades


Customers receiving a full exterior renovation involving three or more trades qualify for our premier 10-year wildlife entry warranty.


Examples include combinations of:

  • Roofing

  • Siding

  • Gutters

  • Soffit

  • Fascia

 

If wildlife gains entry through a covered exterior system installed by Critter Nerds during the warranty period, Critter Nerds will repair the covered entry point at no charge.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

In addition to Critter Nerds workmanship and wildlife warranties, customers may also receive applicable manufacturer warranties.


CertainTeed ShingleMaster™ / SidingMaster™ Systems


Eligible projects may qualify for enhanced manufacturer-backed warranties of up to 50 years, subject to manufacturer terms and registration requirements.


James Hardie Products


James Hardie siding products are covered by manufacturer warranties of up to 30 years, subject to manufacturer terms and conditions.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

  • New entry points not related to Critter Nerds work

  • Damage caused by storms, wind, hail, tornadoes, lightning, flooding, or other acts of God

  • Tree damage

  • Structural movement or settlement

  • Damage caused by third parties

  • Damage caused by other contractors

  • Areas not included in the original scope of work

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Failure of existing structures not replaced by Critter Nerds

 

This warranty covers wildlife entry through systems installed or repaired by Critter Nerds only.
